As part of the 26th installment of the innovation competition TOP 100, eggheads GmbH joins the ranks of the best. The award ceremony takes place in Frankfurt Centennial Hall, moderated and hosted by the triumvirate consisting of the physicist and science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar, the professor for entrepreneurship and innovation Nikolaus Franke, as well as compamedia. On the basis of the scientific method, TOP 100 evaluates the innovation management of SMEs and their success. Throughout this independent evaluation process, eggheads and its 82 employees have been able to stand out — in particular because of their top management’s innovation culture. For the second time in a row, the company joins the ranks of the innovation elite.
With its eggheads Suite, eggheads is among the leading developers and providers for standard software in the field of Product Information Management (PIM). This year, the TOP 100 company has convinced the jury with its innovation-centered management. By opening up new paths hitherto unexplored by fellow competitors, they have successfully secured their position as innovation leaders for the upcoming years.
Being agile and adaptive requires teamwork. Which is why the company’s CEOs have substantially expanded their top management: now including members from the Sales, Product Management, Software Development, and Professional Service team.
This new form of corporate management results in a great many benefits: strategies are continuously pursued and consistently realized. This, in turn, comes with sustainable long-term successes so that everybody involved is overall more satisfied with each other’s performance. Empirically, this can be observed inhouse in the form of higher motivation at work, less sick days, and a significantly lower fluctuation of employees. Outside of the company’s own four walls, the top innovator can respond to market requirements in an even faster manner, satisfy demands with innovative solutions — and anticipate up-and-coming trends well ahead of time.
